What We Do

At the Atomic Aggies, we expand interest and experience in rocketry through student-led competitions, hands-on manufacturing, and rigorous engineering design.

Each year, we design, build, and fly a multistage rocket in national competitions. Our work blends theory and practice: from CAD models and simulations, to propulsion testing, structural fabrication, systems integration, and launch operations.

We mentor new members, host technical workshops, and collaborate across disciplines—welcoming undergraduates from all majors who are curious, passionate, and ready to roll up their sleeves.

Why We Exist

Empower Students — We offer real-world engineering experience beyond the classroom.

Advance Rocketry — We push the frontier of university-level high-power rocketry.

Inspire Community — We share our journey publicly, sparking interest in STEM for K-12, local residents, and the broader aerospace ecosystem.

Foster Collaboration — We partner with sponsors, alumni, faculty, and other organizations to build stronger, sustainable programs.
